Mary J Blige & Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs to Appear on Black-ish Season Finale

Longtime artistic collaborators Sean “Diddy” Combs and Mary J. Blige are to guest star on the hit sitcom Black-ish, the ABC Network announced Thursday.

The music icons will appear in a May episode about the Johnson family’s history and set in the 1920s Harlem Renaissance.

Combs will play a gangster and nightclub owner, while Blige will play the club’s headliner in the reported season finale.

The episode will also feature choreography by famed choreographer Fatima Robinson.

The installment called “Pops’ Pops’ Pops” was written by Vijal Patel and directed by Jonathan Groff.
