Actor, Eric Christian Olsen, visited “The Queen Latifah Show” earlier this year, in January, and FINALLY the long awaited episode has aired! Anyone that knows me KNOWS I absolutely LOVE the hit crime drama, NCIS: Los Angeles; and more specifically, the character of Detective/NCIS Liaison Martin (Marty) A. Deeks, portrayed by Mr. Olsen. Lets face it, Eric’s addition to the cast IS the primary reason for my “change of heart” towards the NCIS spinoff; I barely watched Season 1. Thanks to the USA Network & their plethora of marathons, I recently satisfied my curiosity to the introduction of the charismatic lawyer, turned Detective, turned NCIS liaison. (NOTE: Eric guest starred in two (2) episodes, entitled Hand-to-Hand & Fame, during Season 1 prior to joining the main cast in Season 2). Since then haven’t we just ADORED & ENJOYED watching his definition of a “liaison” come to life in primetime as “a liaison liaises”…that answer would be a resounding, YES! Below, listen to how fatherhood has softened “THAT GUY” he once embodied, learn how he received his lesson on differentiating between a tampon & a maxi pad from wife, actress Sarah Wright, and chuckle along at his hilarious reminisce on needing to purchase maxi pads & nipple cream, before and after birth, for co-star & future sister-in-law, Daniela Ruah, while shopping at Wholefoods. If you missed his Queen Latifah interview/episode, originally aired March 25, 2014, you may view it below, along with a few captured photographs from the set. NCIS: Los Angeles airs Tuesday at 9:00 pm EST on CBS. Eric talks about playing match-maker to older brother & co-star Eric talks about being a new dad Eric, Queen & Celebrity Chef Marcela Valladolid heat up the cooking segment Watch Eric play ping pong with Queen Latifah True Eric die hards and “Densi” shippers may watch the full interview, without interruption, below, via YouTube…though, fair warning, the quality of the video found is not exactly up-to-par.
